Deacon Gary Donahue
Margaret Dwyer Hogan
I have been married to my husband Michael for 20 years, and we moved to Easton five years ago with our four children, ages 10-19, to shorten my husband’s commute. We settled on Easton for the schools – and for Holy Cross Parish! We attended a Mass before we purchased our home and were impressed with the youth ministry, music and charism of the Congregation of Holy Cross so evident at the Mass.
My husband and I both volunteer teaching Faith Formation or helping with Confirmation, our older kids have gone on the ASP service trip, and Fr. Jim Fenstermaker was receptive when we asked and helped to organize the first group from Holy Cross to attend the Steubenville Catholic Youth Conference.
I have run Vacation Bible School the past three years, and this is my first year on the parish council I recently returned to work writing for the Holy Cross Family Ministries in Easton, writing e-books and content for familyrosary.org and Catholicmom.com. This ministry is the fruit of Holy Cross Father Patrick Peyton – who was recently declared Venerable by Pope Francis!
I was born in Bavaria and came to the U.S. when I was 18 – after studying modern languages at high school in Munich.
I work as an Executive Recruit in the high tech industry in the Boston area.
My wife Clare and I have been married for 25 years and we have two daughters.
We have been members of Holy Cross Parish since 1996 and attend the Saturday 4 p.m. Mass.
I am a Eucharistic Minister and member of the “God Squad”.
The staff, parishioners, location and history of our parish are true gifts.
I have a career in IT project management. In my leisure time, I like to ride my bike, bake and decorate birthday cakes, and explore the outdoors with my family.
My husband Lee McGinnis and I have been married since 2003 and have two children.
I was born in New Jersey and spent most of my formative years growing up in Dallas, Texas.
I am a CRNA – Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist by profession, so I guess you dould say I “pass gas” for a living! I have been a Catholic all my life and have been to 49 of the 50 states.
We joined Holy Cross Parish in 2009, when we moved here from Idaho. My husband is an assistant professor at Stonehill College and the Program Director for the Integrated Marketing Communications Master’s Program.
I teach the baptism class at Holy Cross and volunteer in the Faith Formation program. We love golf, college football, traveling and Cubs baseball! I am a Beachbody coach, love working out and helping people meet their health and fitness goals.
I am married to my wife Katherine and we have three grown boys. I retired from the medical device industry in 2017. We have been members of Holy Cross Parish since 1999 when we relocated from New Jersey, and generally attend the 4:00pm Saturday Mass. I taught CCD when my boys were growing up and have been a Eucharistic Minister for many years. Outside of the parish, I am active in the Fall River Cursillo and volunteer at the Holy Cross Retreat House and My Brother’s Keeper. We love Holy Cross Church because of its welcoming and friendly atmosphere, beautiful Masses, numerous ministries, and for the many special friendships we’ve made here over the years.
I have been an Easton resident for forty years. I am a widower with two daughters and seven grandchildren. I am retired after working 35 years with John Hancock Financial Services/Investments. I joined Holy Cross Parish in 2010. I am a member of the Pastoral Council, the RCIA Committee (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) and a Eucharistic Minister. I lived my Cursillo in 2017.
I have always been attracted to the parish by its many opportunities to enhance one’s spiritual life and by the generosity and kindness of its staff and members.
I am Linda Sullivan and have been a member of Holy Cross parish the since the mid-1970’s. Over the years, I have served our parish in various ways. I taught third-grade CCD for four years and first-graders for six. I was a member of the Worship & Spirituality Commission for approximately three years and ultimately chaired the Commission for two years. I am currently serving as a lector and choir member and am a member of the Respect Life Committee, the Emergency Preparedness Committee, and Parish Council.
I attended Stonehill College and received my Bachelor of Science degree in 2000, majoring in finance. While attending Stonehill, as a member of the Beta Xi Honor Society, I served two years as Treasurer raising funds for the Reverend Eugene Green Scholarship Fund, a scholarship fund which continues to serve students today. I recently retired from MIT in June 2018 where I was an academic administrator to approximately 1,500 undergraduate and Master of Engineering students in the Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Department.
As a new member of the Parish Council, it is my hope, working with other members, to respond more fully to the needs of our parish.
